Elementary/Middle School Summer Program 2026

Full Day: 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.$525 - $650/ week
$420/ week of June 15 and June 29
Before Care: 7:30 - 8:30 a.m.$25/day
After Care: 3:00 - 4:30 p.m.$175/ week
$140/ week of June 15 and June 29

Each themed session offers hands-on learning, such as arts and crafts, drama activities, and exciting field trips. Designed for every age, our engaging program helps children explore their interests, try new experiences, and build lasting friendships all summer long.

Weekly Themes

Hello, Summer!:
June 15 - June 18 (closed June 19)
Celebrate all things summer with exciting games, creative crafts, scavenger hunts, and a fun field trip. Cool off with water activities and our inflatable water slide for the ultimate summer celebration!
Drama Camp:
June 15 - July 10 (closed July 4)
Children will work together to rehearse a play, design props, costumes, and sets, and bring the story’s characters to life on stage. Participation in all four weeks is highly encouraged, though not required. The final performance will take place during the fourth week.
Hiking:
July 13 -17
Join us for a week of outdoor exploration as we hike various trails and parks, then spend the afternoons cooling off with water play at Thacher and local splash pads.
Adventure Week One:
July 20 -24
Explore different places every day of the week, including parts of Boston, the Science Museum, the beach, and more!
Water World:
July 27 - 31
Stay cool in the middle of summer with this week full of water activities. There will be daily field trips to beaches, splash pads, and water slides, as well as a visit to the New England Aquarium.
Adventure Week Two:
August 3 - 7
The fun continues as we head out on exciting daily excursions, including a trip to the zoo, local farms, and the Massachusetts coast. Each day brings a brand-new adventure inspired by Adventure Week One!
Wilderness Day Camp:
August 10 - 14
Join us for a week of day camping as we set up a home base at an outdoor cabin during the day, hike local trails, kayak, and build a fire in the early evening at the end of the week.
Outdoor Creative Arts:
August 17 - 21
Celebrate the final days of summer with a week of creativity. From painting to woodworking projects, children will create and design while enjoying Thacher’s outdoor environment. The week also includes a field trip to a local art museum for inspiration.
