Open Position: Upper Elementary Co-Teacher

Thacher Montessori School seeks an Upper Elementary Co-Teacher to join our community effective immediately. This position has been created in response to continued mid-year growth in our Upper Elementary classroom. It reflects our commitment to maintaining high-quality, developmentally responsive Montessori practice as our program expands.

Qualifications include:

• At least three years of Montessori teaching experience
• AMI or AMS Montessori training (6–12 Diploma required)
• Strong knowledge of Montessori theory and its practical application
• Experience working collaboratively as part of a teaching team
• Clear written and verbal communication skills

Substitute Teacher and Assistant

We are seeking substitute teachers and assistants for Toddler through Middle School classrooms.

This role will be utilized for planned absences and situations involving late notification. Whenever possible, advanced notice will be given to a substitute. The candidate should possess good interpersonal skills and a calm demeanor.
