Financial Aid
We use a thorough and confidential review process that begins with your application through FAST (Financial Aid for School Tuition). FAST, created by Independent School Management in Wilmington, Delaware, is a secure online platform that evaluates a family’s ability to pay tuition. Factors considered may include income, net worth, housing costs, number of children, and the local cost of living.
Once FAST provides its recommendation, Thacher’s Financial Aid Committee reviews the suggested award in the context of our applicant pool and available resources. Each application is considered individually to ensure equity and fairness across all decisions.
Based on demonstrated need, financial aid is offered as a partial tuition reduction and awarded as a percentage of the total tuition.
